*This is a 100% remote sales position, with some potential in-person travel to Toronto/New York/San Francisco. You will be selling in both US and Canadian markets.* Who we are looking for


We are looking for a Sales & Account Executive (Cloud & DevOps Services) to join our quickly growing team and take our sales efforts to the next level. We’ve had great success with organic word-of-mouth growth, but we are seeking someone with the skills and drive to do what it takes to build a rock solid services pipeline while enjoying uncapped earning potential.


Our goal is to find the perfect person for this role, regardless of experience. We are open to both mid-level and senior Sales & Account Executives for this position, so we encourage all who have the minimum requirements to apply. 


To work with us as a Sales & Account Executive we would expect you to have:


  • 3+ years sales experience in professional services, staffing, B2B, or SaaS sales with a track record of quota/milestone attainment.

  • Previous experience managing complex sales cycles over 3-6 months with multiple stakeholders/teams.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain long-term relationships with clients.

  • Self-motivated and driven to achieve sales targets and deliver exceptional customer experiences.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

  • Proficiency in using CRM software and sales productivity tools.


Any of the following skills/experience are not required but highly preferred:


  • Experience with selling and/or understanding of Cloud/DevOps/Infrastructure.

  • Experience with or existing network within Canada’s “Big 5” bank technology groups.

  • Experience with or existing network within US bank technology groups.

  • Experience with AWS/Azure reseller/partnership programs.


The type of work you'll be doing as a Sales & Account Executive will be:


  • Sales and Business Development:

  • Identify and target potential clients in various industries who can benefit from cloud computing and DevOps solutions.

  • Generate leads through prospecting, networking, and referrals.

  • Conduct thorough research on clients' businesses, challenges, and industry trends to understand their requirements.

  • Collaborate with technical teams to develop customized solutions and proposals aligned with clients' needs.

  • Present and demonstrate our services to key stakeholders, highlighting the value proposition and competitive advantages.

  • Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements to close deals and achieve sales targets.


  • Account Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to drive customer satisfaction, retention, and upsell opportunities.

  • Regularly engage with clients to understand their evolving needs, address concerns, and provide ongoing support.

  • Act as a trusted advisor, offering insights and recommendations on how cloud computing and DevOps can improve clients' operations and outcomes.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including technical consultants and project managers, to ensure successful service delivery and client satisfaction.

  • Manage our technology partnership programs (AWS), and explore opportunities for additional partnerships.


  • Market Intelligence and Strategy:

  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitors' offerings related to cloud computing and DevOps.

  • Analyze market conditions, identify business opportunities, and develop strategies to expand the customer base.

  • Provide feedback and insights from the field, contributing to the refinement of service offerings, marketing materials, and sales strategies.

What’s the process?


100% remote hiring and onboarding, usually 2-4 weeks between phone screen & offer:

  • Phone screen with our Business Operations Manager (15-30 mins)

  • Panel interview with our Co-Founders (1-1.5hrs)
